When I was about 10 years old, I wanted to be a nun. I liked the habits they wore. Later on, becoming a lawyer crossed my mind since I like the writing part of it. After lots of different jobs...daycare, housekeeper, nanny, retail worker, owner of a Native American store...I finally settled into writing.
I think my journey to my writing career helped me along the path of my writing career. I write about lots of different people I met, worked with, got to know, or was. I have many personalities, and my friends and family have seen most of them. I'm sure they wonder how I remain as sane as I am most days.
That little girl who wanted to become a nun? Well, she was cast in the theatrical production of "Sound of Music" as a nun. After wearing a habit for three weeks straight, I moved on from that particular dream. That helped and so did the four children I have now... :)
I was meant to be a writer so that's what I'll be for the rest of my remaining years on this earth. About the growing up part? I have no plans to do that.
